The YDI Key Code begins at the source – purchasing rough diamonds from DeBeers Global Sightholder Sales Ltd as a Sightholder, as well as other major international suppliers. YDI focuses on mostly white-colored, smaller rough diamonds, generally producing polished diamonds under 1.00 ct.

These rough diamonds are then cut and polished with the highest standards at our Chinese facility. Each diamond is then meticulously evaluated, sorted and assigned a Code that represents its specific size, clarity and color.

Thousands of Items, One Simple Code

The YDI Key Code is designed for easy and convenient selecting, ordering and reordering from our extensive inventory of over 1,700 items. We have carefully categorized each diamond according to its size, clarity and color, resulting in a simple three-digit identification code (a fourth digit can be added for sieve sizes).
