At YDI, sustainability and ESG principles are an integral part of our business strategy and decision-making processes. We believe that responsible business practices create long-term value and strengthen the trust we build with our customers, partners, employees, and communities. Our commitment extends throughout our supply chain, where we continuously work to improve transparency, accountability, and responsible sourcing practices.
As part of this commitment, we have continued to enhance our traceability systems, enabling us to trace even melee diamonds from 2024 onwards, by percentage, back to their source. This increased visibility allows us to provide greater transparency and better understand the journey of our diamonds. We also collect environmental data from our suppliers and use this information to continuously improve our sustainability performance and reporting. As a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we continue to align our goals and actions with recognized global sustainability frameworks.
