YDI is a proud Forevermark (FM) Diamantaire, a diamond brand from DeBeers Group which benefits from over 130 years of diamond expertise, allowing approved Forevermark Jewelers to purchase directly from YDI’s large inventory of 0.14ct to 0.80ct FM diamonds.
YDI carefully selects Forevermark-eligible diamonds purchased from De Beers-approved suppliers who are committed to high ethical standards. Less than one percent of the world’s diamonds are eligible to become a Forevermark diamond
These exclusive diamonds are then beautifully crafted in our own factories, kept separate and special within their own exclusive production line. Upon return to Headquarters, they are sent to the Forevermark laboratories in Belgium for inspection.
Every Forevermark diamond, which has also passed the Forevermark laboratory inspection, is then inscribed with a promise – a promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing. An inscription of 1/20th of a micron deep and invisible to the naked eye is made on each diamond. The inscription includes the Forevermark logo, as well as the diamond’s unique ID number, which is registered in the Forevermark database.
